Shipping policy

Version: 1.0

Effective Date: 01 January 2026

1. Purpose and Legal Status

This Delivery & Fulfillment Policy (the “Policy”) governs order fulfillment and delivery processes on the WEEBE marketplace and clarifies the respective responsibilities of Sellers, Buyers, and delivery partners.

WEEBE operates solely as a marketplace intermediary. Products are sold by independent third-party Sellers and fulfilled either by Sellers directly or via Platform-approved delivery partners.

This Policy forms an integral part of and is incorporated by reference into:

  • the Marketplace Seller Agreement,
  • the Platform Terms of Service, and
  • applicable Seller Policies.

2. Marketplace Model and Allocation of Responsibility

  • WEEBE does not sell, store, package, ship, or deliver products.
  • WEEBE does not act as a carrier, courier, freight forwarder, or logistics provider.
  • Each Seller remains solely responsible, at its own cost and risk, for:
    • order fulfillment and preparation;
    • packaging and dispatch readiness;
    • legal and regulatory compliance; and
    • handover to the assigned delivery partner.

WEEBE is not a party to any transport or delivery contract between the Seller, Buyer, and any delivery partner.

3. Seller Fulfillment Obligations

Each Seller is solely responsible for timely and proper fulfillment of all orders, including:

3.1 Order Preparation

  • picking correct products and quantities;
  • verifying SKU, variants, and expiry/batch (where applicable); and
  • ensuring items are new, unused, undamaged, and saleable.

3.2 Packaging

  • secure and protective packaging suitable for transport;
  • compliance with hygiene, safety, and regulatory standards; and
  • inclusion of all required accessories, manuals, or inserts.

Damage caused by improper packaging remains Seller fault, including damage occurring during transit.

3.3 Dispatch Readiness

  • orders must be ready for pickup within Seller operating hours and Platform-specified timelines;
  • shipping labels, order references, or airway bills (where applicable) must be correctly generated and attached.

Failure to meet fulfillment requirements may result in order cancellation, settlement deductions, performance review, or enforcement under Seller Policies.

4. Delivery Execution

  • Delivery is performed by Sellers directly or by Platform-approved delivery partners.
  • WEEBE may facilitate coordination but does not perform delivery.
  • Orders involving multiple Sellers may be delivered separately.
  • Delivery fees, timelines, and methods may vary per Seller and order.

5. Delivery Areas & Availability

Delivery availability depends on Seller coverage, delivery partner service areas, and operational, safety, or security constraints.

Certain locations may be excluded temporarily or permanently. Availability and applicable fees are displayed at checkout.

6. Delivery Timelines

Delivery timelines displayed on the Platform are estimates only and may vary due to:

  • Seller preparation time;
  • Buyer location;
  • Delivery partner availability;
  • Peak demand; or
  • Events beyond reasonable control.

Delivery times are not guaranteed unless required by mandatory law.

WEEBE is not liable for delivery delays caused by Sellers, delivery partners, Buyers, or external factors.

7. Delivery Fees

  • Delivery fees are generally payable by the Buyer and displayed at checkout.
  • Fees may vary based on Seller, order value, distance, and delivery method
  • Delivery fees are generally non-refundable once a delivery attempt has occurred, except where required by law or expressly approved by the Platform.

8. Buyer Responsibilities

Buyers are responsible for:

  • providing accurate delivery information;
  • being available to receive the order; and
  • accepting Cash-on-Delivery (COD) orders where selected.

Failed deliveries due to Buyer error or unavailability may result in additional attempts, additional fees, or order cancellation.

9. Risk, Title & Proof of Delivery

9.1 Risk Transfer

Risk of loss or damage transfers to the Buyer upon successful delivery to the provided address, unless mandatory law or the Return & Exchange Policy provides otherwise.

9.2 Proof of Delivery

Proof of delivery may include signature, OTP, GPS confirmation, photo evidence, or delivery partner system records and may be relied upon for dispute resolution, settlement processing, and chargeback defense.

Neither WEEBE nor Sellers are required to store, reschedule, or reattempt delivery indefinitely following a failed delivery, unless required by law.

10. Failed Delivery, COD Refusal & Returns

If delivery fails due to Buyer refusal or unavailability:

  • the order may be cancelled;
  • COD privileges may be restricted for repeat refusals; and
  • the Seller is not deemed at fault where fulfillment and handover were properly completed.

Returned or failed-delivery items may incur additional logistics or handling costs, which may be borne by the Seller as reflected in settlement statements, in accordance with the Seller Commission & Fees Policy (Appendix A).

11. Force Majeure

Delivery or fulfillment delays caused by events beyond reasonable control (including weather, strikes, road closures, governmental actions, or logistics failures) do not constitute a breach, except where mandatory law provides otherwise.

12. Relationship to Other Policies

This Policy must be read together with:

  • the Return & Exchange Policy;
  • the Seller Commission & Fees Policy;
  • the WEEBE Wallet Policy;
  • the Seller Agreement; and
  • the Platform Terms of Service.

In case of inconsistency:

  1. the Seller Agreement prevails for Seller obligations; and
  2. mandatory consumer law prevails where applicable.

13. Updates

This Policy may be amended from time to time.

The version published on the Platform applies from its effective date.
